AP VENTURES supports and advises companies primarily in the insurance and healthcare sectors with the aim of sustainable growth. The service portfolio includes growth financing, investment in start-ups and scale-ups, as well as business consulting and temporary management.
Consulting encompasses analysis and concept development through to the specific implementation. AP VENTURES helps companies both financially and with extensive expertise and relevant contacts in developing innovation, remaining competitive, and successfully mastering the challenges of digitalisation.
About the Founder
AP VENTURES was founded by Olav Skowronnek in 2003. A graduate in business administration, he has been working as an entrepreneur and consultant in healthcare and insurance for many years. He founded ACTINEO GmbH in 2008. The company is meanwhile the German market leader for the digitalisation and medical assessment of personal injury claims with 190 employees currently. Previously, Olav Skowronnek was involved in the founding and development of multiple healthcare companies. These include GesundheitScout24 GmbH, which was renamed to Sanvartis GmbH in 2004 and today employs over 600 people.

The use of digital applications and platforms is becoming increasingly important in healthcare, enabling the secure transfer of healthcare data and the digital networking of all stakeholders. A growing number of processes are also being automated in marketing and advertising. AP VENTURES opens up new options for market participants in these areas, supporting them in seizing market opportunities.
In the world of finance, art represents an alternative to conventional investments such as equities or bonds, and the trade in artworks can generate considerable returns. The art of the post-war period has become particularly profitable. New investment opportunities are emerging in an art market in upheaval. Digital art fairs are driving revenues, and new technologies are making the art trade more secure and efficient. AP VENTURES supports the acquisition of and trade in artworks, especially in 20th century paintings.

CSR
AP VENTURES considers sustainable business to be a social and societal obligation and actively practises sustainability in its company values. This includes supporting the companies in which shares are held on their path towards climate neutrality. Here, both the actual energy footprint of the company as well as its active commitment to ecological and social projects matter. What’s more, AP VENTURES directly supports the reforestation projects of the German forestry conservation association Schutzgemeinschaft Deutscher Wald (SDW) and the Eckhard Busch Foundation, which stands for those affected by mental illness and for the destigmatisation of the topic among the general public.
